SENATE BILL 8 “Bathroom “Bill”

This new law impacts all public school and requires districts to follow specific procedures regarding locker rooms and restrooms.

LOCKER ROOM DESIGNATIONS

At the following times, locker rooms will be designated as NON-PRIVATE:

> 10 minutes before the start of the pregame activites

> 8 minutes during halftime

> 10 minutes after the conclusion of a game

> 20 minutes after the conclusion of a practice

These designations allow coaches to handle their responsibilities without infringing on student privacy.
